How much does a new laundry cost?
The cost of a custom-made laundry by Warrimoo Kitchens depends on the size and shape of the space you have, whether you need to move or add plumbing and electrical outlets, the fixtures and fittings you choose, and the appliances you need.
We tell clients to budget at least $3,500 but it can be more depending on the cabinetry and appliances you choose.
What should I consider when planning my laundry?
Laundries in the Blue Mountains tend to be small, especially in older homes.
When we design your laundry we consider the size and shape of the space you have available as well as your family size and lifestyle.
We ask questions about how you use the space – like, do you need room for folding, drying, and ironing?
We design the space to be functional and accessible with lots of storage… we’re yet to meet a homeowner that doesn’t need clever storage solutions!
Should my kitchen and laundry match?
No, your laundry and kitchen don’t need to match – we can design different, functional spaces to suit your lifestyle.
However, most of our customers build or renovate their kitchens and laundries (and bathrooms too!) at the same time, and it make sense to select matching or complementary styles and finishes such as the cupboards, benchtops, splashbacks, and handles.
How can I maximise the space in my small laundry?
